ISLAND LAKE LODGE
Fernie is near the spectacular Elk River, located in the rugged Rocky Mountains of eastern British Columbia. This crystal clear, free flowing river and its tributaries are simply packed with wild, exquisitely marked Westslope Cutthroat Trout. Anglers seeking quality dry fly fishing in uncrowded conditions, need look no further. These waters not only hold Cutts, but also at times, large numbers of gigantic Bull Trout. This combined with generally sunny, warm days and excellent lodging combine to offer a great trout package.
