One of the richest marine environment in the world! LOTS OF BIG FISH

British Columbia's coastline creates one of the richest marine environments in North America. Millions of Salmon and Halibut, Steelhead, Trout . . . they're here too. Big fish and in vast numbers. There's nothing better than catching big fish on light tackle from a small boat!

There are over 200 lodges in British Columbia, but we only recommend about 20 of them. Here are some of our favorites:

The Best Salt Water Salmon Fishing Anywhere!
This may be the most consistent spot in North America. Located in the legendary Queen Charlotte Islands, this lodge has put it all together. World class salmon and halibut fishing, great equipment, deluxe accommodations and gourmet dining. We have created hundreds of happy repeat customers by sending them to this outstanding lodge. On each trip, limiting out on 25 - 30 pound salmon is the norm and catching a 40 or 50 pounder is not uncommon. Each year at least one, and usually several, of our customers catch a halibut weighing over 200 pounds! A few years ago one of our customers brought in a 286 lb. halibut from a 22' boat and hasn't been the same since! Another customer caught the year's record Chinook salmon, 62 pounds! This lodge uses 19', 22' or 25' center-console Boston Whalers and top of the line equipment to fish the rich waters just a short boat ride away. You may fish unguided, however the lodge's catch records prove that the guided boats consistently bring in more fish every year than the unguided. Your adventure begins with a ride on the lodge's helicopter which will take you from the charter plane landing strip to the helipad on the grounds. It just doesn't get any better than this! Prices include air from Vancouver and are for 3 or 4 night guided packages. $2630 - $3800 per person.
Classic BC Lodge With Outstanding Spring Heli-Fishing.
Easy access is one of the many conveniences of this family owned and operated lodge. Just a twenty minute ride from the Campbell River airport, this Vancouver Island lodge is a real gem. Excellent guides and equipment make whatever kind of fishing you choose to do fantastic. Besides the regular saltwater fishing for salmon and halibut, in the spring you can do some of the most outstanding freshwater heli-fishing imaginable. Traveling to remote rivers only accessible by air, your A-Star helicopter will set you down on a spot just a short walk from a stream loaded with fish. This is really living! In the evening you'll be served a wonderful dinner in your private cabin and later relive the day in front of your own fireplace. Your host is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced fishing and hunting guides in Canada and he and his staff really know how to show anglers a good time. This place never fails to please our customers with both the fishing and the hospitality. Prices are for 4 night packages with 32 hours of guided fishing. $2550 - $3100 per person
Great Value - Great Fishing!
Maybe the best kept secret in the Queen Charlotte Islands, this small lodge is operated by the on-site owner who was the head guide for many years at one of Canada's top lodges. He really knows how to fish! Located on the north end of the Queen Charlotte Islands, this spot experiences some of the best salmon fishing in the world. Unusually large coho and Chinook were caught here last year. A man and wife who are repeat customers recently told us "We're still trying to wipe the smiles off our faces from last year's trip?! The lodge only accommodates six people at a time and you'll fish from a 21' boat with a cabin and head - two or three to a boat. Dinner is "home cooking" served family style and you'll probably be joined by the owner who will regale you with his fishing stories. A favorite meal many of our customers rave about is the Dungeness crab that the lodge owner catches in his own crab pots. The facility is only a few years old and the accommodations are attractive and comfortable. And at these prices, it just may be one of the best values in the Queen Charlottes! Prices include air from Vancouver and are for 3 or 4 night packages. $1900 - $2200 per person
